Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Faustino Pinto (netpunch), Portugal ("we", "us"), the developer of the Joura app ("Joura"). By installing or using Joura you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Joura is — and is not
Joura is a personal tool to record your GLP-1 medication doses, daily check-ins, weight and progress photos, and to show you that information over time.
Joura is not a medical device and not medical advice. It does not diagnose, does not interpret symptoms and never recommends starting, stopping, increasing, decreasing or rescheduling a medication. Only your prescriber can do that. Never change how you take a medication because of something you see in Joura. If you feel unwell, contact a healthcare professional.
2. Who can use Joura
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Joura is intended for people who use a GLP-1 medication under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
3. Your account and your data
- Joura starts with an anonymous account on your device. If you do not link it to a sign-in method (Apple, Google or email), your data may be lost when you change or reset your device. Linking is optional and free.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your device and sign-in secure.
- Everything you enter remains yours. We only use it to run the app as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You can delete your account and all of your data at any time from Profile → Privacy & Data. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
4. Joura Pro subscription
- The free version lets you log doses, check-ins, weight and a limited number of progress photos. Joura Pro unlocks unlimited progress photos, side-by-side comparisons, your full history and custom reminder cadences. Everything you log stays yours on the free plan.
- Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Use Restore purchases in the app to recover a subscription on a new device.
- Where required by the store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if it conflicts with these terms, these terms prevail to the extent permitted.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Joura for anyone other than yourself without their consent, do not try to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the app or interfere with the service, and do not upload content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
6. Our content
The Joura name, mark, design and software are ours or licensed to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. Nothing in these terms gives you rights to our brand or software beyond that.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Joura available and accurate but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app or on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
8. Disclaimer and liability
Joura is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Joura and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service; we will give reasonable notice where we can.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence. Questions: faustino@netpunch.pt.
